CALLING ALL PAST AVONBANK PLAYERS......

Please read the NEWS PAGE for the details of the 60th Anniversary Reunion

Welcome to the
Avonbank Band Website

Avonbank Brass Band is based in the beautiful and historic town of Evesham on the banks of the River Avon. Evesham is the 'capital' of the fertile Vale of Evesham, lying between the Malvern and Bredon Hills and the Cotswolds.

We are a very friendly and welcoming band and attract players from a wide area.

Our senior band currently competes in the Third Section. We rehearse on Monday and Friday evenings between 7:30 and 9:30pm in our own premises - The Mick Sharp Memorial Bandroom.

The Bandroom is soundproofed, has a kitchen and toilet facilities and has ample free parking.

Our Training Band ( so named because it welcomes players of all ages and abilities ) rehearses on a wednesday night from 7pm onwards.

2008 is the Bands 60th Birthday and there are going to be numerous celebration events.

But the main aim for the band in this special year is to visit our twin town of Evesham New Jersey in the United States of America during October 2008.

This is a huge task both logistically and financially. Click on the 'Stars and Stripes' to see how we intend to get to America and how you may be able to help?
